After leaving an uninspiring Dip the Fludyers looked much better with the wind cross shore, and a little bit on. Amazing the difference to the Dip which was dead. Phill was going well. I rigged a full 6m, with Roger and Paul on 7.5m and 7m and Dolphin Paul flying on 6.5m. It was a nice and comfortable sail and as the wind increased I down and outhauled a lot more and enjoyed perfect bump 'n' jump well powered up. I tried to get to the pier but the wind picked up and I did not fancy too broad reach back, but Paul made it and flew back. It was great blasting in and out with some nice wave faces to ride down and the steeper ones generally short enough to avoid on the way out unless you really can jump, which i cannot. Great antidote to the miserable time at the Dip; only downside was my crappy Gun harness ripped after only 8 months!.
